Privacy Policy
Effective Date: May 27, 2026
Frontier Pet Software ("Frontier Pet," "we," "us," or "our") provides a multi-tenant pet salon management platform used by pet grooming businesses, salon employees, and their clients. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our websites, applications, booking pages, client portals, communications tools, and related services.
1. Our Role in a Multi-Tenant Platform
Frontier Pet operates software for multiple independent salon businesses. When a salon uses Frontier Pet to manage clients, pets, appointments, messages, payments, payroll, or operations, that salon generally controls the information it enters and the communications it sends. Frontier Pet processes that information as a service provider to the salon and uses it only as described in this policy, our agreements, and applicable law.
If you are a salon client, your salon remains your primary point of contact for questions about your appointments, services, pets, communication preferences, or account records.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on how the platform is used, we may process the following categories of information:
- Contact information, such as names, phone numbers, email addresses, and mailing addresses.
- Pet information, such as pet names, breeds, sizes, notes, preferences, and service history.
- Appointment and service information, including booking details, groomer assignments, tickets, invoices, and tips.
- Communications information, including SMS, email, voice, notification preferences, opt-in status, and opt-out status.
- Employee and user information, such as role, schedule, timekeeping, payroll-related records, and login account details.
- Payment and transaction information processed through third-party payment providers.
- Technical information, such as device, browser, IP address, log data, and security/audit events.
Frontier Pet does not store full credit card numbers when payments are processed by third-party payment processors such as Square.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to provide, secure, maintain, and improve Frontier Pet, including to:
- Manage appointments, clients, pets, services, invoices, payments, timekeeping, payroll, and salon operations.
- Send and receive appointment-related SMS, email, voice, and notification communications.
- Provide client portal, booking, rebooking, history, and preference-management features.
- Authenticate users, enforce permissions, support tenant isolation, and protect against unauthorized access.
- Provide customer support, troubleshoot issues, perform audits, and comply with legal obligations.
- Develop, test, improve, and operate the platform in a reliable and secure manner.
4. SMS, Email, and Client Communications
Salons may use Frontier Pet to send transactional and operational communications, including appointment confirmations, reminders, schedule updates, pickup notifications, client service messages, and similar salon-related communications.
SMS Consent and Opt-Out
SMS consent may be collected by the salon through booking flows, in-person interactions, client portal settings, or other salon-approved methods. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies based on appointment and account activity. Message and data rates may apply.
Clients may opt out of SMS messages by replying STOP and may request help by replying HELP. SMS opt-out preferences are retained to honor communication choices and carrier compliance requirements.
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. Data Sharing and Service Providers
We may share information with service providers and infrastructure vendors only as needed to operate the platform and provide services to salons. These may include hosting providers, database providers, authentication providers, messaging providers, email providers, payment processors, analytics and logging tools, and customer support systems.
We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, security, and integrity of Frontier Pet, salons, clients, employees, or others.
We do not sell personal information or use salon client data for independent third-party marketing.
6. Tenant Isolation and Chain Organizations
Frontier Pet is designed as a multi-tenant platform. We use tenant-scoped data access controls, authentication, permissions, and operational safeguards to separate salon data. Where a salon belongs to a chain or organization, authorized users may be able to access shared client, pet, appointment, or operational information across related locations according to that organization's configuration and permissions.
7. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the platform, support salons, comply with legal, accounting, and operational obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain communication preferences such as SMS opt-outs. Salons may retain records according to their own legal and business needs.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These safeguards include tenant scoping, role-based permissions, authentication, audit logging, and managed cloud infrastructure. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Choices and Requests
Salon clients should contact their salon to update appointment records, pet information, communication preferences, or account information. Platform users may update certain profile and account settings through Frontier Pet where available. You may also contact us using the information below, and we may direct requests relating to salon-controlled data back to the applicable salon.
10. Children's Information
Frontier Pet is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Continued use of Frontier Pet after changes are posted means the updated policy applies to your use of the platform.
